INFORMATION - HOW TO GET THERE - TRANSPORT

You have the possibility to reach our accommodation by plane or by other transport e.g. own car.

With own transport:
From several places in Italy you can take a ferryboat to Greece. The ferry will arrive in Patras. Are you staying at the Peloponnese you can arrange your own route to your reserved accommodation.
If you travel by train to Italy and arriving in Patras, you can take the connecting trains leaving from Patras. There is a train connection from Patras to Korinthos and from there further on to Athens. There is a second connection leaving from Patras to Kalamata. Since a few years there is no connection anymore between Kalamata and Korinthos. Nowadays this part can be travelled by bus. From Patras you have also the possibility to take the local bus to all kind of destinations.
Between Patras and Athens there is a motorway. If you travel by car to Athens or Lesbos you can use this motorway.
To reach Lesbos you need an additional ferry connection. These ferries leave daily from Piraeus. The trip takes about 12 hours.

Evian
The Central of Greece is connected with two bridges, from Attica via ferries Oropos – Eretria, Agia Marina – Nea Styra and Rafina – Marmari. Northern Evian is connected with three ferry lines, Arkitsa – Loutra Edipsou, Agios Konstantinos – Agios Georgios Lichadas and Glyfa – Agiokampos.

By airplane:
Athens (ATH):
Besides the national carrier of Greece you can also reserve through Internet other airlines, which depart from airports close to your home towards Athens. From the airport you can reach Athens centre by train or by bus. Close to the arrival hall you will also find car rental offices and taxis.

Lesbos (MJT):
From several countries charter flights leaves for Lesbos. Please contact a travel agency or internet for information. These charter companies mostly offer fly only seats.
From Athens & Thessaloniki Airport 3 Greek airline companies offers flights to Lesbos.
From Lesbos airport you can take a taxi to your accommodation or to Mytilini bus station. Several car rental companies have an office at Lesbos Airport.

Corfu (CFU):
From several countries charter flights leaves for Corfu. Please contact a travel agency or internet for information. These charter companies mostly offer fly only seats.
From Athens & Thessaloniki Airport 3 Greek airline companies offers flights to Corfu.
From Lesbos airport you can take a taxi to your accommodation or to Corfu bus station. Several car rental companies have an office at Corfu Airport.

Thessaloniki (SKG):
Besides the national airlines of Greece you can reach this airport also by other companies. Through Internet you will find these flights leaving from several airports close to your home.
For an onward connection to Lesbos you can chose between 3 airlines, which offers daily flights.
For an onward connection to Kalamata you can chose Olympic Air which offers flights 3 times a week.
For an onward connection to Corfu you can chose Aegean Airlines which offers a daily flight.

Peloponnese - Kalamata (KLX):
From several countries you can depart to Kalamata by a charter company. Please contact a travel agency or Internet for this information. Most of this charter companies offers fly only seats.
From Athens, twice a day flights offered by Aegean Airlines.
From Thessaloniki, Olympic Airlines offers 3 times a week a flight to Kalamata.
From Crete and Rhodes, 2 times a week flights to Kalamata are offered.
From Kalamata Airport taxis are available for the transport to the accommodation or to the bus/train station in town. Several car rental companies have an office at the airport.

Peloponnese - Araxos (GPA):
Several charter companies offers flights to Araxos. Araxos is situated close to Patras. Please contact a travel agency or Internet for additional information. These charter companies mostly offer fly only seats.
At the airport of Araxos taxis are available for the transport to the accommodation or to the bus/train station of Patras. Several car rental offices are at Araxos Airport.

Santorin (JTR):
From several countries you can depart to Santorin by a charter company. Please contact a travel agency or Internet for this information. Most of this charter companies offers fly only seats.
From Athens, daily a flight offered by Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air.
From Crete, Mykonos and Rhodes, daily flights to Santorin are offered.
